Mandy Takhar, known for her work in Punjabi cinema, filed for divorce from her husband, Shekhar Kaushal, on Friday. The decision was taken mutually and it was allowed by the court. The couple had tied
the knot on February 13, 2024. While Mandy is an actor, Shekhar is a gym trainer and CEO. As per reports, they have been living separately since 2025 and today, the couple moved the first motion for a mutual divorce before the Saket Court. Advocate Ishaan Mukherjee, who represented Mandy, told IANS that certain personal differences led to the divorce, which has been granted. The lawyer refused to give any more details.

In early 2017, she appeared in the Punjabi film Rabb Da Radio.She was last seen in Enna Nu Rehna Sehna Ni Aaunda, starring Sapna Pabbi and Imran Ashraf. The film follows Kiran's peaceful Canadian life as it changes when rowdy international students move next door. After she confronts their leader Jaggi about noise, they begin a comedic rivalry filled with failed attempts to outdo each other.She has also featured in music videos by Ammy Virk, Jubin Nautiyal, and Yo Yo Honey Singh.
