According to reports, filmmaker CH Subba Reddy’s Rama Bramha Hanuma Creations legally owns the title.It was registered years ago, as per an India Today report. The Telugu Film Producer’s Council’s registration document has also surfaced online. Reportedly, the title was renewed earlier this year.However, it is worth noting that the registered title has a slightly different spelling from that of Rajamouli’s film. It is “Vaaranasi,” not Varanasi. Currently, it is not known whether Reddy has filed a complaint against the makers.
