Karan recalled dreaming about attending the Met Gala. From loving cinema to living his long-standing dream, the filmmaker seems to have had the best experience. His outfit was inspired by Raja Ravi Varma’s legacy and art. For Karan, “This moment wasn’t just about fashion for me. It was about storytelling. During an interview before attending the event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, Karan spoke to the international media. He recalled the time when the Met Gala wasn’t much known to the common public in India. However, Vogue was his introduction to the event, and he always saw himself on the front page. Johar also revealed that if he gets a chance, he would like to take a selfie with Sabrina Carpender, who is his daughter Roohi’s favourite.
