Harsh Mayar on watching films like Hera Pheri
In an exclusive chat with us, Harsh revealed he found a similar vibe like
Hera Pheri and
Chup Chup Ke in
One Two Cha Cha Chaa. "When this (film) was offered to me, I felt there is a very similar vibe in this film exactly like when we used to see films like
Chup Chup Ke or
Hera Pheri or
Dhamaal,
Deewane Hue Pagal or Priyadarshan films and the ones that came in 2005."According to Harsh, 2000s was the best time for comedy movies. "That was the best time for comedy and that was the best time for comedy films. These films are cult films right now. So I was very happy because I am somebody who grew up watching this kind of cinema," he added.
Harsh Mayar on One Two Cha Cha Chaa
Before signing off, Harsh mentioned that
One Two Cha Cha Chaa is a film about four leads and a crazy road trip journey. "So basically, this has been offered to me in 2023, if I'm not wrong. And they called me and they wanted to narrate this to me. So there was this role in this film because, if you have seen the teaser, there is an ensemble cast in the film. It's a very important part because there are four leads in the film. It's a road trip, it's a journey, but it's a crazy journey," he said, on a concluding note.Meanwhile, on the work front,
Harsh has Gullak 5 lined up for release in 2026.
