The audience poured love on the series and made it one of the most-watched Indian shows of all time. In an exclusive interview with Zoom, Farida Jalal, who will be seen in O’ Romeo next, shared her review of The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Welcoming Aryan to the film industry, the veteran actor said she did watch the show and found it to be a good watch.

However, she sees more potential in the young filmmaker. Talking to Zoom, she smiled and said, “Welcome home! Yahin ke toh hai, aur kahan jayenge?” When asked if she watched The Ba***ds of Bollywood, Farida added, “I did. Theek tha, it was okay. He could have done it better, but accha toh tha.”

The Ba***ds Of Bollywood also stars Bobby Deol, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Rajat Bedi, Mona Singh and others. The show premiered on September 18 on Netflix. It is the story of Aasmaan Singh, a new superstar in tinsel town, who gets famous for his attitude and then, for falling in love with the daughter of megastar Ajay Talvar, Karishma. She is also a newcomer and signs her first film with Aasmaan. As they grow close, Ajay decides to jeopardise his career. The show ends with a twist, revealing Aasmaan is Ajay’s elder, illegitimate son. The second season of The Ba***ds of Bollywood is in the making.

O’ Romeo, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, features Farida with Shahid, Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Tamannaah Bhatia, Farida Jalal, Disha Patani, with Vikrant Massey in a special appearance. The film is slated for a theatrical release on February 13.
