Doctors have now confirmed that he is stable and likely to be discharged soon.
Palash Muchhal Stable After Treatment
According to the doctors treating him, Palash’s condition had worsened primarily due to stress-related distress. As reported by
Mid-day, he was admitted after complaining of chest pain.Dr. Dipendra Tripathi, one of the doctors overseeing his treatment, stated: "Palash’s condition appears to be linked to stress-related distress rather than a serious cardiac event."Palash was first taken to a hospital in Sangli, where he received immediate first-aid care. However, when his symptoms did not improve, he was shifted to a hospital in Mumbai later on Monday.
Cardiac Tests Conducted; No Major Medical Emergency Detected
Upon being admitted to SRV Hospital, Palash reported severe chest pain, uneasiness, and difficulty breathing. Doctors performed key cardiac examinations, including an ECG and 2D echocardiography.Dr. Tripathi added: "While certain levels were found to be slightly elevated, there was no indication of a major cardiac or medical emergency. As a basic line of treatment in such cases, oxygen therapy was started immediately. Following initial stabilisation, Palash was shifted to a general room and kept under close observation."Based on the tests and his progress, doctors believe the episode was largely triggered by stress and anxiety surrounding recent events. With supportive care and rest, his condition has steadily improved, and stress indicators have reduced significantly.Hospital authorities confirm that Palash is now recovering well. However, doctors have advised complete rest for at least three weeks to ensure full recovery and avoid recurrence.
Smriti Mandhana’s Father Also Discharged Recently
This update comes shortly after it was reported that Smriti Mandhana’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, was discharged from Sarvhit Hospital on the morning of November 25.
