Kumar and Tabu-starrer Bhooth Bangla has been declared as a hit. The Priyadarshan-directed horror-comedy was released on April 17, 2026 in theatres. It was indeed a special film for each member of the crew as Bhooth Bangla turned out to be Priyadarshan’s 100th directorial venture. Producer Ekta Kapoor is currently on cloud nine after the film became a hit at the box office. Recently, Ekta penned a note in which she expressed her gratitude to Priyadarshan for making an entertaining flick for the audience. She even revealed how the director had a strong belief in making the film.
Ekta Kapoor’s Special Post For Priyadarshan
Ekta Kapoor shared a bunch of selfies with Priyadarshan on Instagram and penned a sweet note filled with gratitude, emotions, love and admiration for the veteran director. In the note, Ekta said that she was working with a man who was doing his 100th film. They are both headstrong people, and others expected fireworks out of their collaboration. Moreover, she stated that people didn’t see the deep-rooted mutual respect that defined their journey. Ekta admitted she had a lot of fun working with Priyadarshan. While speaking about their fun conversation, Ekta Kapoor wrote, “The first thing he asked me was, “Ekta, are you making money on this film? I don’t work on a film if my producer doesn’t make money”.” Apart from that, Ekta also mentioned that the kind of belief Priyadarshan brings to the table ensures the producer’s security before he begins the project.
Ekta further stated that Priyadarshan and she had disagreements, but they were always respectful to each other. She wrote, “At the end of the day, I truly believe a director must take the ship forward, and what a ship this has been!” While thanking Priyadarshan by the end of the note, Ekta Kapoor said that his vision and discipline are impeccable. She thanked him for giving her the biggest hit of her career. She couldn’t be more grateful. Ekta Kapoor’s post is going viral on social media, and netizens can’t stop gushing over the same.
