Stranger Things Season 5: Hawkins' Adults Step Up With Joyce, Hopper, Karen And Murray Character Posters

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is returning on November 26, 2025, with the first four episodes. Netflix has been teasing its last season by sharing the character posters every week. First

up were the members of The Party, followed by the girls, and then the young adults Steve Harrington, Nancy Wheeler, Jonathan Byers, and Robin Buckley. This latest round features the adults who have been around since the beginning. Check out their posters below.

On the official X account of Stranger Things, the motion character poster for Hawkins police chief Jim Hopper quotes a dialogue from Season 4, which states, "Maybe I can still help El, even if it’s the last thing I do." Hopper, played by David Harbour, has adopted Eleven, aka Jane Ives, and saving her from the Upside Down and those who want to exploit her has been one of his goals from Season 2. The man has a purpose.

Winona Ryder made an acting comeback with the series by playing Joyce Byers, brave mother to sons Will (Noah Schnapp) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton). When her son Will disappears into the Upside Down, she moves heaven and earth to bring him back. The quote that accompanies her poster states, "I made this choice. And I would choose it again even knowing everything that I know." Joyce Byers lives with no regrets.

Karen Wheeler character poster for Stranger Things Season 5

Meanwhile, Cara Buono plays suburban mother Karen Wheeler, who is surprisingly chill that her children Nancy (Natalia Dyer) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard) keep running off to save the world every season. The quote with Karen's poster says, "Great, just what we need. More hysteria.” However, Karen is becoming more aware, unlike her husband Ted, that something is not right in Hawkins, Indiana.

Last but not least, it's the turn of conspiracy theorist Murray Bauman, who has had quite the rise as a hero in the last few seasons. His iconic line from Season 4 is included in his character poster, which states, "My fingers are like arrows. My arms like iron. My feet like spears. Resist and I’ll end you."

This fan-favourite character should have many more memorable moments in Season 5 when it returns next month. The first four seasons are now streaming on Netflix.
