Deepika is currently the lead of two massive projects – King with Shah Rukh Khan and Raaka with Allu Arjun. Both are in the production stage with long schedules lined up. Before taking a break to welcome her second baby, Padukone will be working on action sequences for King and Raaka. According to a news portal’s report, her due date is still approximately 180 days away.

As per Free Press Journal, Deepika and Ranveer Singh will be welcoming their second child in about six to six and a half months. A source from one of the films told the portal that the actress called them to inform them about her pregnancy and remained committed to going out of her way to manage schedules to avoid causing inconvenience to anyone. According to the report, Deepika will be in South Africa to shoot a song with Shah Rukh for King. She is expected to film some important action sequences for the climax. Along with Shah Rukh and Deepika, the schedule will also have Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan’s sequences.

The report further revealed that once back from South Africa, Deepika is expected to shoot for at least 50 to 60 days for Raaka. During these days, she will film crucial action scenes. There were reports of the makers of the sci-fi action thriller trimming her role due to pregnancy. However, an official statement from Allu Arjun’s team denied the speculation.

King, Raaka release dates

King is releasing in December this year. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the actioner also stars Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Abhay Verma and many others. Raaka’s cast includes Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur, and Janhvi Kapoor, along with Allu Arjun and Deepika.
