Amid BTS Comeback Preps, Spring Day Becomes ONLY Song To Rank On MelOn's Year-End Chart Top 100 For 9 Years

brand new album along with launching a world tour, but that hasn't stopped their previous work from making waves across the charts. In a major milestone, the boy band's 2017 single Spring Day has made history as the first and only song to spend nine consecutive years on MelOn's Year-End Chart Top 100 (2017–2025). The latest feat comes as BTS prepares to make its big return on March 20, 2026.

Spring Day on 2025 Melon Year-End Top 100

On January 8, Melon revealed its 2025 Melon Year-End Top 100, and Spring Day, the title track from BTS' second full-length album You Never Walk Alone (repackage of their second Korean-language studio album Wings) ranked at No. 77. This is a huge feat for a song as it makes it the first ever entry to reach the milestone in the platform's history. The data covers charting from January 1 to December 31, 2025.

Spring Day released in February 2017 and went on to chart on Melon's annual ranking for the first time the same year. It has ever since stayed put on the chart for nine continuous years, marking the longest-running entry in the platform's year-end chart history.

As per reports, the reason behind Spring Day's constant ranking is due to a sustained listener support. Huge support from ARMYs led to the track becoming the first on the platform to surpass 1 billion cumulative streams too. It also holds the record for the longest run on the daily chart for almost 8 years. Meanwhile, BTS member Jungkook's first solo single Seven ranked at No. 60 on the Melon year-end chart. It's stayed in the chart for a third consecutive year.
