BTS surprised ARMYs with a beautiful announcement on January 15. After days of speculation, the K-pop band revealed the name of their upcoming comeback album in the most unique manner. The album is titled
ARIRANG, and the seven member group gifted it to fans with all of them giving out a special message through an audio text message. BTS revealed the name through its official social media handles, and hearing the voice of Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook left netizens having a meltdown. This comes two days after BTS revealed the schedule of its world tour that'll follow the release of their album on March 20, 2026.

Arirang' along with the video message which was posted on Apple Music with the announcement. It has the band opening the audio with their signature "We are BTS". RM then says, "We are so excited to share our new album Arirang" as others join in asking fans for all the love and support.

The announcement also stated that the pre-order for the album begins on January 16. As per BTS, the album will include: Rooted in Korea version, Rooted in Music version, Living Legend version, Weverse album version and 7-member version Standard Vinyls.
What is Arirang about?
Arirang will include 14 tracks. BTS' fifth album holds a special place considering it marks the band's first offering which is releasing after three years and nine months and sets out the direction OT7 will take moving forward. The members have stated before that each one has been deeply involved throughout the songwriting and production process, infusing their own thoughts and identities while expressing the emotions and reflections they experienced along their journey.

world tour that kicks off on April 9, 2026 from Goyang, South Korea. It will cover 34 venues, 79 shows across 5 continents.
