Social
media platform Reddit seems to be down on Wednesday in the US. As per outage tracking website Downdetector, hundreds of users reported issues while using the platform. Nearly 1642 users filed complaints about the outage. Many users took to their social media and said they were unable to access Reddit properly.
Users Face App, Website and Server Issues
As per Downdetector data, nearly 53 per cent of users witnessed problems with the Reddit app. Around 22 per cent faced issues with the website and 18 per cent reported problems with the server connection. The Downdetector also suggested that the alleged outage mainly affected cities including New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington, Houston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
Official Service Status Of Reddit
Despite hundreds of complaints, Reddit’s official service status page showed that all systems were operational and reported no issues. The platform did not officially confirm any outage.
