Kailash Kher recently left everyone in shock by staging a walk-off at the Gwalior concert. He reportedly did it due to crowd misbehaviour. The videos are also going viral on social media, showing Kailash Kher walking off the stage. However, in a recent interview, the singer clarified the reason behind his act and mentioned that he didn’t abandon the event. Moreover, Kailash also revealed that he left the stage to control the overenthusiastic crowd. He expressed his disappointment over people for their misbehaviour during the concert. He also emphasised that live performances are built on mutual respect and understanding.
Kailash Kher on walking off the stage
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Kailash Kher explained the reason behind walking off the stage during his concert in Gwalior. Kailash stated, “Dekhiye, woh bekaboo ho gaye the, par maine concert se walk off isliye kiya tha taaki woh shaant ho jaayein. (See, they were uncontrollable. I walked off so that they would calm down).”
Kailash Kher further added, “Authorities were trying their best, but the crowd didn’t want to listen. Excitement kahiye ya jo bhi, kuch waqt ke liye walk off karna hi best tha uss situation mei. Ladke toh ladke, ladkiyaan bhi barricade jump karke aa rahi thi. Bahut hi stressful ho gaya tha sab.” The singer further stated that the situation required immediate control to ensure safety for both the audience and performers. After he came back on the stage, the crowd enjoyed it a lot and danced like crazy. Kailash said, “Main bilkul clear tha ki agar kisi ko bhi chot lagti, toh main concert cancel kar deta. Excitement ko handle karna aana chahiye, chahe audience ho ya performers. Situations ko properly handle karna hi sabse zaroori hota hai.” Talking about Kailash Kher, the 52-year-old singer has sung many popular songs in Bollywood.
