Kalyan, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor, is recovering after undergoing surgery earlier this month following a sudden health scare. In his first public meeting after the procedure, he met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at his residence in Hyderabad. Chandrababu Naidu advised him to strictly follow medical guidance and take complete rest. Pawan Kalyan, who is recuperating at his Jubilee Hills residence after treatment at Apollo Hospital, was accompanied by his wife Anna Konidela. During the meeting, he also explained the medical complications that led to his surgery and ongoing recovery process.
Pawan Kalyan Shares Major Health Update, Hints at Possible Second Surgery
N Chandrababu Naidu advised him to strictly follow doctors’ recommendations and take complete rest after the recent surgery.During the meeting, Pawan Kalyan briefed Chandrababu Naidu on the medical complications that led to the surgery. What was initially believed to be a sinus-related issue developed into a serious infection affecting his eye, which required surgical intervention.
Doctors reportedly performed Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) to treat the condition. He also informed the Chief Minister that he was still experiencing mild nasal bleeding after the surgery, though doctors have assured him it would subside within a week.Pawan Kalyan also spoke about long-standing injuries sustained during action sequences in his film career, stating that he had neglected them over the years. Doctors have identified a rotator cuff injury near his shoulder, which has persisted for nearly five years, and have advised further treatment, including the possibility of another surgery.

According to a statement from Political Secretary P Hariprasad, Pawan Kalyan had been facing health-related issues for several months. The condition worsened when he experienced severe discomfort during administrative meetings. Doctors subsequently carried out a surgical procedure.

Narendra Modi also reached out to Pawan Kalyan following his recent surgery, wishing him a swift recovery and praising his resilience. The Janasena Party chief responded with gratitude, acknowledging the Prime Minister’s concern and encouragement. According to party officials, he had been dealing with health issues for several months before undergoing surgery.Pawan Kalyan’s new project was announced on New Year’s Eve, with director Surender Reddy confirmed to helm the film.
