Charan’s much-awaited sports drama Peddi which released on June 4, has made a solid start at the box office. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide on its opening day despite receiving mixed-to-positive reviews. As audiences flocked to theatres to celebrate the release, Ram Charan's wife Upasana Konidela celebrated the film's success by cutting cake as several fans gathered around her. This is not the first time Upasana has shown her support for Ram Charan’s latest release. Earlier, another video of her watching Peddi with fans at a Hyderabad theatre had gone viral online.

In the viral video, Upasana is seen cutting a large customised cake featuring the film’s poster along with the words “Peddi Blockbuster.” The cake was also decorated with five stars, showing the positive audience response to the film. Dressed in a simple pink kurta set, she looked happy as she celebrated the occasion with fans and well-wishers. The celebrations continued with fans bursting firecrackers to mark the film’s success. Upasana was also seen interacting warmly with children present at the event and feeding them pieces of cake. As the festivities went on, several fans gathered around her, cheering and enjoying the celebrations.

At the film's screening, she was seen showing enthusiastic response, cheering for Ram Charan’s entry scenes and enjoying the audience reaction. Clips from the theatre showed packed auditoriums filled with excitement, confetti flying in the air, and fans celebrating mass scenes from the film. In one visual, Upasana was also seen picking up paper bits scattered on the floor and tossing them into the air, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The film also performed strongly overseas, taking its worldwide opening-day collection to approximately Rs 112.49 crore.
