For your information, this will be different from your primary account, as officially confirmed by the platform. Other third party agents like ChatGPT, Claude, and more can also be connected to your agentic account on Robinhood and allowed to buy or sell shares for you. Robinhood also knows that letting AI handle finances could be a little risky, so the platform has also put some safeguards as well. Users will be allowed to pause autonomous trading at any time and preview trades made by their agents when asked. The platforms also say that the user will get a real-time activity feed and push notifications when an AI agent triggers something. And the users will also have a one-tap disconnect option that will instantly cut the agent's access to their financial account. As of now, the agentic trading is limited to equities with plans of further expansions for different formats like futures, prediction market, crypto, and more.
