SS Rajamouli reacts to rumours of using AI for Varanasi
Meanwhile, in an interview with Polygon, SS Rajamouli quashed the rumours of using AI for creating visuals for Varanasi's first glimpse. In the interview, the filmmaker set the record straight by highlighting the amount of hard work his artists put in to create it. The director mentioned that his artists relentlessly worked day and night creating the glimpse. He even wondered if any of them had a good sleep three weeks before the video was released. "And to say that it's AI generated would be a huge insult to their artistic genius. Every single frame took 20 hours to render," he revealed.
