Imran Khan fans have been waiting eagerly for his comeback and are super excited to see him back on the screens. As the actor announced his upcoming film Adhure Hum Adhure Tum, netizens couldn't keep calm. Imran, who began his acting career with Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na (2008) backed by his superstar uncle Aamir Khan, is finally making a comeback, and this time he is all set to rule the OTT space but netizens were waiting for an official announcement at the Next on Netflix event but were left disappointed. The line-up included a wide range of projects spanning genres and featuring a star-studded cast including Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna, Saif Ali Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri and Rajkummar Rao but Adhure Hum Adhure Tum was
snubbed from it.
Imran Khan's Adhure Hum Adhure Tum To NOT Release On Netflix?
Now, Variety has learned that Imran's film has been stuck in limbo following the exit of the
Netflix executive who greenlit the project. Although it remains on the OTT giant, internal logistical and scheduling issues are being resolved, resulting in the postponement of its release.
The film was initially supposed to premiere in the first quarter of 2026 and now fans are awaiting a new release date or other updates. The film was wrapped up in July, and the cut was delivered in October, as per a source close to the production. "Unfortunately, since the executive who originally greenlit our project was let go, the film has just been languishing," the insider added. No official word from
Netflix on when they intend to release it, but considering the timelines for post production (color grading, sound mixing etc), it can only release post July.
