The Summer 2026 release calendar is shaping up to be a crowded one! Several big-ticket films have locked their dates. Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, and Yash’s Toxic are both set to clash on March 19. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’sBhooth BanglaBhooth Bangla is scheduled to arrive on April 10, followed by Salman Khan–led Battle of Galwan on April 17. However, it now appears that Bhaijaan’s war drama may avoid the clash. Reports suggest it could be postponed to Independence Day. Director Apoorva Lakhia and Khan have reportedly been reshooting certain portions to improve the film, and this is taking longer than expected.Salman Khan's Battle Of Galwan POSTPONED?According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Battle Of Galwan’s shoot is still
incomplete and the reshoots are taking longer than planned. A fresh one-week schedule is set to begin on February 9 at Mumbai’s Golden Tobacco Factory. Once that wraps up, a few more days of filming will remain. The shoot is expected to be completed by the end of February.
A source told the portal that Lakhia will start editing the reshot portions after this. Notably, the film also needs to be screened for the Ministry of Defence and this process could take additional time.What We KnowDue to these factors, the April 17 release date is looking difficult. Salman reportedly believes the patriotic film should be handled with care and has advised the team not to rush. He wants them to focus on delivering a strong final product.The source further said that while Salman and Apoorva are seriously considering delaying the release, a final decision has not yet been taken.
