A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, starring South star Yash, is one of the most awaited films of the year. It was initially slated to release in theatres on the same day as Dhurandhar 2 aka Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which would have resulted in a major box office clash. However, amid the Iran-US-Israel war, the Geetu Mohandas directorial was postponed. In another surprising update, the film was once again pushed from its June release as the makers needed more time to turn it into a global cinematic spectacle. Tara Sutaria, who plays a key role in the film, recently opened up about the delay during an interview at the Cannes Film Festival.

Speaking about the film’s release date, Tara told
The Hollywood Reporter that she is a patient person and believes in looking at the bigger picture instead of worrying about delays.She explained that actors cannot treat a film as their personal property because it belongs to everyone involved in creating it. She added that her responsibility was to perform as an artist, while producers and directors handled the larger decisions. Tara concluded by saying that the film is going to be worth the wait.

Calling it deeply satisfying and fulfilling, she said that she wanted to work on sets that felt positive and were led with honesty, purpose, and clear intention. Kiara Advani and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles. Tara shared that it was special to see so many women from different age groups and career stages come together in one project. Even though the actresses did not share too many scenes together, she said that those moments felt rare and memorable.She praised Yash, calling him an incredible human being and co-star.
