Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti are one of the most loved on-screen pairs of Indian television. The two actors first worked together on Qubool Hai, which premiered on Zee TV in 2012. Six years after their iconic show concluded, Karan and Surbhi returned as Asad and Zoya in Qubool Hai 2.0 in 2021. It was a 10-episode series on ZEE5. And now, if a media report is to be believed, the actors have apparently reunited for a new project. Buzz is that the Qubool Hai co-stars have already begun shooting for their romantic series in Mumbai. Read on to know more about it.

According to a Mid Day report, Karan and Surbhi have reunited for a new romantic drama on OTT. The report further suggests that the actors, who are friends in real life, have always talked about coming together for something special. Now, they have reportedly got a romantic series to work on. The duo has apparently commenced shooting for it in Mumbai.

That said, Surbhi has apparently shooting for the series since April. "Surbhi loved the story, which she also believes will be a treat for her fans, who love seeing her in romances," the source added. However, it isn't known whether Karan and Surbhi's new project will be a miniseries or multi-season show.For the unversed, Karan played the role of Asad Ahmed Khan in Qubool Hai, while Surbhi was seen as Zoya Farooqi. After Karan left the TV show, Raqesh Bapat joined the show as Asad. However, when Qubool Hai 2.0 was made, the makers decided to bring back KSG in the lead role.

When Surbhi Jyoti spoke about romantic scenes with KSG

Earlier, in an interview with Zoom, Surbhi reflected on doing romantic scenes on screen. The actress was asked if she had any inhibitions doing it, to which, she said, "Not really. I have already worked with Karan. So working with him wasn't difficult at all because we already have had that comfort level."

Surbhi even mentioned that doing romantic scenes are 'easiest' for her as she is a romantic person in real life.
