Recently, actress Chitrangada Singh, who will star alongside Salman in the much-anticipated film Battle of Galwan, praised the superstar, describing her experience working with him as highly rewarding.

Shootout at Lokhandwala, Battle of Galwan is based on the intense 2020 Galwan Valley conflict between India and China. Singh spoke about the collaborative process with Salman Khan, emphasising his penchant for improvisation on set. "As actors, we can only do what’s written in the script, but we’re always expected to bring something extra. With Salman, there’s a lot of room for improvisation. He enjoys adding his own touches, so many moments on set were spontaneous and improvised. He’s such a big name, and I’m doing my best to match up to that," Singh told PTI in a recent interview.

Though she didn’t reveal specifics about her character, the
Desi Boys actress mentioned that even supporting roles can leave a lasting impression if performed well. "In action films, being the emotional anchor is crucial. It’s important to shine through, even if your part is small. If you do a great job, even in a five-minute role, people will remember you - and that’s what matters," she explained when asked about the nature of her role in the film.

She also reflected on the significance of
Battle of Galwan, sharing that being part of such a project holds a special meaning for her. "Coming from an army background, this film is very close to my heart. It’s an important story, and I feel blessed to be part of it," she said, adding that she is also awaiting the release of her Netflix film, Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders.
Salman Khan on prep for Battle Of Galwan
Earlier this year, Salman Khan opened up about the physical demands of
Battle of Galwan, calling it one of the toughest roles he’s ever taken on. "It’s physically demanding. Every year, every month, every day, it gets harder. I have to give more time now. Before, I would do action scenes in one or two weeks, but now I’m running, kicking, punching... this film demands a lot," Khan revealed in an interview.
Battle of Galwan is expected to hit theatres in January 2026.
