In a latest development, tech giant Anthropic announced on Friday that the Microsoft 365 connectors are now available across all the plans of Claude AI. In simple words, this update will help users to directly integrate their day-to-day drivers like Microsoft 365, including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Outlook, into their conversations with the AI platform. Claude Can Tap Into Your Emails, Files, And MoreIn a social media post on X on Friday, the official account of Claude tweeted, “Microsoft 365 connectors are now available on every Claude plan. Connect Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint to bring your email, docs, and files into the conversation.” With the connectors, Claude users can now simply link their emails, documents, and stored files directly into Claude chats,
enabling the AI tool to analyse, summarise, and generate responses based on the data. Who Can Access Connectors In Claude?Interestingly, this feature will be rolled out across all the subscription tiers, making it usable beyond enterprise and premium users. It will turn into a more context-led assistant. Instead of working separately, the integration can now help to gain reference based real-tie information from a user’s inbox, shared workspaces, or cloud storage. For example, users can now ask Claude to summarise lengthy email threads from Outlook, extract insights from documents stored in OneDrive, and even review collaborative files hosted on SharePoint.
