4 Update: Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 4 has hit yet another roadblock. The superhero flick has remained in pre-production for too long and does not seem to be going on floors any time soon. According to a latest report, Krrish 4 has been put on back burner as Hrithik and Aditya Chopra are not mutually agreeing to the budget. The superstar, who will be making his directorial debut with the fourth instalment of the much loved franchise, is envisioning the film on a massive budget, whereas the Yash Raj Films head-honcho wants to put a cap on it.

What's Exactly Going On With Krrish 4?

As per a report quoted by Bollywood Hungama, Hrithik wants Krrish 4 to be made on a very large scale, with a budget close to Rs 500 crore. The actor believes that the film needs grand visuals, strong VFX, and large action set pieces to meet audience expectations, especially at a global level. On the other hand, Aditya Chopra feels that the budget should be controlled and capped at around Rs 350 crore. He reportedly believes that a tighter budget will help manage risks and ensure better returns at the box office.

After several rounds of discussions, the two reportedly decided to put the project on hold for now. This does not mean that Krrish 4 has been cancelled, but it will not move forward until a clear agreement is reached. For the moment, the film has been pushed to the back burner, with no fixed timeline for when it will finally go on floors.Meanwhile, Hrithik is reportedly in talks with different studios to see if someone else is willing to back the film at the budget he has in mind. At the same time, he is also reworking the script and reviewing Aditya Chopra's feedback seriously.In addition to this, Hrithik is also planning to take up another film as an actor before fully committing to Krrish 4. He has reportedly heard several scripts and is close to finalising one. An official announcement about his next acting project is expected soon, and insiders claim it will surprise audiences.As of now, Krrish 4 will not go on floors in 2026. Either Aditya Chopra may agree to increase the budget, or Hrithik could move ahead with a new producer. Recently, Priyanka Chopra hinted that she may be joining Krrish 4 but nothing is confirmed or official yet.
