Rakul Preet Singh Manifests Next Co-Stars, Filmmakers From Ranveer Singh To Sanjay Leela Bhansali | Exclusive

After starring in two romances in the year 2025, actress Rakul Preet Singh expressed her desire for more challenging roles in the future. Last year, Rakul was part of two love triangles in Mere Husband

Ki Biwi and De De Pyaar De 2. The Bollywood star went to add that she wanted to act and work alongside artists that she hadn’t worked with before. Rakul named Dhurandhar star Ranveer Singh and King actor Shah Rukh Khan as some of the people she wanted to share screen space with. Love & War director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was also on the wishlist.

Rakul Preet Singh manifests her future collaborators

Speaking with Zoom, Rakul revealed that she wanted to go beyond what she has already done in her 17-year career. She began acting in South films and made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with Yaariyan. Rakul stated, “My endeavour next is to be able to find scripts that are equally challenging so that I don't disappoint my audiences. I'd like to work with everyone I've not worked with.”

The actress said, “There's Ranveer who I'm a fan of, whom I've not worked with. I'd love to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, sir, of course. I'd love to work with Shah Rukh sir. There are just so many people I'd love to work with. And more than that, I'd just love to work with as many people, whoever I've not worked with.”Rakul reprised her role as Ayesha Khurrana in the rom-comDe De Pyaar De 2. Co-starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Meezaan Jafri, the Hindi film directed by Anshul Sharma follows Ashish (Devgn) meeting his younger girlfriend's family to get their blessing for marriage.

Rakul Preet Singh’s upcoming projects

Rakul is part of Mudassar Aziz's next film, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Wamiqa Gabbi. She is also part of the long-delayed Indian 3, starring Kamal Haasan. Directed by Shankar, the Tamil sequel was due to release in Christmas 2025. Finally, Rakul is also part of the multi-starrer Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. She plays Surpanakha in the film, scheduled for release on Diwali 2026.

The actress is married to actor and producer Jackky Bhagnani. After going public with their relationship in 2021, they wed on February 21, 2024, with a traditional ceremony in Goa. Rakul and Jackky have worked together on the films Cuttputlli (2022) and Mere Husband Ki Biwi (2025).
