This development comes just a week after Dharmendra had visited the same hospital for what was described as a routine check-up. At that time, Hema Malini had interacted with photographers at the airport, assuring them that her husband was doing well. The sight of Hema visiting Dharmendra sparked a wave of speculation about the actor’s health, but his team has now clarified the situation, assuring everyone that there is no reason to worry.According to reports, Dharmendra was admitted to the hospital earlier this week and has been kept under medical observation. While details regarding his ailment have not been disclosed, the actor’s team has dismissed all circulating rumours suggesting that his condition is serious. In a statement to India Today, they said, “He’s under observation, but there’s nothing to worry about.”Sources close to Sunny Deol have also dismissed the reports as fake. “The whole ventilator news is fake. Dharmendra has been hospitalised for a week but he is not on a ventilator. Sunny Deol visited Dharmendra in the morning at the hospital and he is back now. If something like this would have happened, his entire family would have been in the hospital,” Indian Express quoted a source as saying.On the professional front, Dharmendra was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, where he played Shahid’s grandfather. He also appeared in the blockbuster Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The actor will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis, a war drama based on the life of Param Vir Chakra recipient Arun Khetarpal, co-starring Agastya Nanda.
