Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Chief and actor Thalapathy Vijay has filed his nomination for the Tamil Assembly Elections. He chose to contest elections from Perambur in Chennai and Trichy East. Amid this, the Jana Nayagan actor held a rally in Puducherry ahead of the Puducherry Assembly elections, scheduled to be held on April 9. A video from Vijay's rally has now gone viral on the internet. The video, circulating on X (formerly Twitter), features Thalapathy Vijay losing his cool at a security personnel for pushing an elderly man.

Leo co-star Trisha Krishnan. Neither Vijay nor Trisha have reacted to the speculations yet.
However, at Women's Day event organised by his political party, Vijay told his supporters not to bother about other issues. He insisted on focusing in people's problems first. "I see all of you busy fighting those allegations and getting hurt. In fact, I get hurt seeing that you get hurt. I will take care of all that. Let's get involved in people's problems," he added.

Jana Nayagan, is yet to release in theatres. Directed by H Vinoth, the film was supposed to hit the big screen on January 9. According to media reports, the film might arrive in cinemas by the last week of April. An official confirmation is awaited.
