His upcoming Netflix film, directed by Danish Aslam, who previously directed the 2010 romcom Break Ke Baad starring Deepika Padukone, promises a blend of humour, emotional depth, and chaotic romantic entanglements. Now, a report suggested that after completing principal photography, Imran has returned to Mumbai for a brief round of additional shooting, alongside co-stars Bhumi Pednekar and Gurfateh Pirzada.

Adhure Hum Adhure Tum is currently undergoing a short schedule of additional shooting after the streaming platform provided creative feedback. The OTT platform reportedly reviewed the film last month and recommended a few narrative refinements. Both Imran and director Danish Aslam, who had initially filmed according to the approved script, welcomed the suggestions and have planned a four-day shoot to capture the new footage.
Meanwhile, Imran has already begun shooting on May 5 in Mumbai, with the schedule set to conclude by Friday (May 80. Co-stars Bhumi Pednekkar and Gurfateh Pirzada are also part of this. A source involved in the project clarified that these are not reshot or recut scenes, but rather new scenes designed to enrich the story. After this schedule, the film will return to the editing room before the final cut is sent to Netflix for approval. The film is expected to premiere in the second half of this year.

Earlier when Netflix left it out of its February slate reveal without the mention of Imran's comeback film, it fuelled rumours that the project had been quietly shelved.
