The reports of the show being revived for a second season was widely shared by fans on social media, who flooded the internet with overwhelming reactions.

As per a report in Naver, industry sources have stated the writer of the K-Drama Moon Ji-Won has started work on
Extraordinary Attorney Woo’s second season script, implying the show is in pre-production stage. The report further shared that the pre-production of the series is “progressing normally." The K-Drama's writer Moon Ji-Won is “currently writing the script.”

At first, the makers of the show had decided on releasing the season season in the year 2024, and they even took a step and signed on a scriptwriting contract with the show's writer Moon Ji-Won in 2023. But, because of the casting schedule and script work, the show couldn't match the 2023 deadline for a season 2. The same was confirmed by Extraordinary Attorney Woo's lead actress Park Eun-Bin in a 2025 interview. She had said, “I haven't received any contact regarding casting yet.”
