Kapoor's Ramayana: Part 1 is one of the most-awaited movies of this year. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film features Ranbir as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. On Hanuman Jayanti, the makers released a teaser that received positive feedback. However, some netizens recently claimed that one particular guy in the teaser was AI-generated. For the unversed, the clip features a guy's turban colour changing from blue to purple within a few seconds. The truth is that the boy is not artificially generated, but a real actor named Saket Patel.

'Blue turban guy' in Ramayana: Part 1 teaser is REAL

After several X user suggested that the boy was AI-generated. Actor Saket Patel shared a video on Instagram, introducing himself as the 'blue turban guy' from the Ramayana: Part 1 teaser. In the video, Saket asked everyone to believe the fact that he is not 'AI'-generated. The actor revealed he shot for that particular scene almost two years ago. He added that the scene was shot on real set with real crowd and Ranbir Kapoor in front of him. Take a look:

Saket further stated, "The funny thing is, in 2026, if something looks too nice, people call it fake. So, let me know if you want to know more about this or me." The actor also issued clarification statement on his X (formerly Twitter) account. He clearly said that the scene involved 'real shoot, real people and real effort'.The Ramayana: Part 1 actor also felt that it's time people started appreciating the work instead of questioning everything. He further added, "Respect the work that goes into filmmaking."

Ranbir Kapoor confirms double role in Ramayana

Meanwhile, in an interview with Collider, Ranbir Kapoor confirmed that he is playing double role in Nitesh's mythological epic. The actor will be seen Lord Rama and Lord Parshuram. He told the publication that Lord Vishnu had differents avatar, out of which Lord Parshuram was an avatar before Lord Rama. The actor added that it was fantastic to get an opportunity to play both avatars.

Who plays what in Ramayana?

In Nitesh Tiwari's film, Ravi Dubey will be seen as Lord Laxman. On the other hand, Indira Krishnan will be seen as Queen Kaushalya, while Arun Govil is rumoured to be playing King Dasharatha in the movie. Apart from that, Vivek Oberoi, Lara Dutta, and others are a part of the mythological epic.
