But I came to this show after hearing that it’s a reality show, and I personally felt that I am here to be real for my fans, for my viewers, for people who don’t know me."He continued,

"Somewhere, when you are a popular face in some profession, people expect a certain way of lifestyle from you, a certain way of movement like I should always wear good clothes, wake up in the morning and blow dry my hair, with knife and fork I am going to eat food. I didn’t do anything like that because I am not like that in real life. I am a normal guy from a town like Kanpur who has worked in a city like Mumbai."

Talking about keeping it real, he added, "An educated guy, but I am very grounded that way. I repeated my clothes. I wore sleepers in the gym. I never abused. I ate rice with my own fingers. And I have no qualms about it because that’s how I am. And when you are real, you connect with real viewers. I wasn’t standing there with makeup for 3 hours. I didn’t wear heavy clothes or big jewellery. All this I could have done in the show, I have done it before. In this show I wanted to be real. They thought my reality was fake.
