Lasso fans, get ready for a football summer! The Apple TV hit is coming back to streaming in summer 2026. The streamer revealed the tentative release date for its former number one show. Additionally, Apple TV shared some first-look images that shed light on the new change for Ted Lasso, played by actor and executive producer Jason Sudeikis. The football coach takes up a new position for a second-division women’s team for Richmond. Fans will also get a glimpse of the new young actor, Grant Feely, who takes over the role of Ted’s son Henry. The upcoming season will be split between Kansas and London.

After 61 Emmy nominations and a two and a half year break, Ted Lasso is returning to Apple TV in summer 2026. The comedy series officially said goodbye in 2023. But fans remained unsatisfied with the ending, and the actors were also keen to come back for more. With persuasion from Apple TV, the eagerly awaited fourth season is now on the horizon. The fourth season is still under production in London. However, the streaming service has dropped a few photos to get fans excited about the upcoming season. Besides Sudeikis, original cast members Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift are all back to reprise their beloved characters. Meanwhile, the new cast members include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.

Reynolds plays Ted’s new assistant coach alongside Coach Beard (Hunt). One of the first look photos shows the new assistant looking hesitantly at the optimistic coach. Yet another photo shows Ted right in the middle of the action, watching as his new team trains around him.

The third photo shows Grant Feely as Ted’s son Henry, who accompanies his father to the London pub Crown & Anchor, belonging to Mae Green (Annette Badland). The fourth season will take place both in London and Kansas. Last July, the cast was seen filming in Sudeikis’ hometown of Kansas City.

The final photo shows Ted reuniting with Rebecca (Waddingham) at the airfield in front of the Richmond jet. He is seen giving her some of his famous homemade biscuits.
