December, listeners can expect long-format music showcases, chart-driven nostalgia, and late-night energy designed for festive listening.Leading the charge is Club Mirchi, Mirchi’s flagship DJ-led property, returning with two special editions. The Christmas Special airs from December 24 to 28, between 9pm and 3am, featuring DJ Tam, DJ Richard, and DJ Arjun, with Mirchi Ayantika adding her signature presence. The momentum continues straight into the New Year Special, broadcast on December 31 and January 1, again from 9pm to 3am, turning the midnight crossover into a full-scale radio party. The programming leans into electronic and club sounds, positioning Mirchi as a companion for late-night celebrators as well as homebound listeners.

Balancing the high-energy nights is Mirchi’s year-end chart programming, anchoring the season with reflection and recall. The final weekend of December will feature the Mirchi Top 20: Year-End Chart, counting down the most popular film songs of the year. Hosted by Suren, the show brings together audience favourites that dominated playlists, parties, and pop culture conversations through the year.

Running alongside it is the Gaana Indi Pop 10: Year-End Chart, hosted by Kanika, spotlighting the most impactful independent tracks of the year.
