Talking about the show and what convinced him to say yes, Aditya Redij praised its theme and said it would appeal to those who are determined and persistent in pursuing their goals—especially people who strive to rise above the setbacks life throws at them. He also spoke about his on-screen character, revealing that it is not a typical lead role. He plays Dr. Vishwas Tandon, a man with shades of grey, and added that the character is involved in an extra-marital affair. When asked about his bond with Aishwarya Khare, he said, "My first mock shoot was very good, my work with his began on a smooth note, and the connect began there. We now work on a certain comfort level. Even with Anjuum, the scenes are good".

Elaborating on his on-screen character’s rapport with the two women, he added, "Despite being caught in a cycle of control and manipulation, Dr. Vishwas is forced to listen to the woman he loves."For the unversed, Aishwarya Khare was last seen in Bhagya Lakshmi, which shot her to fame.
