The song Thassadiya has emerged as a chartbuster, while Samantha’s energetic dance performance in the track has gone viral on social media. Several reels have also been created around the song.
Samantha has been actively promoting the film through interviews and public interactions. One of the videos show her fun interaction with actor Vennela Kishore. The actress has also performed action sequences in the film without using a body double for the first time.
Samantha Reunites With Nandini Reddy
Maa Inti Bangaram marks Samantha’s reunion with director Nandini Reddy after their successful 2019 film Oh Baby. Nandini Reddy, who made her directorial debut with Ala Modalaindi in 2011. The film is a female-centric action-family drama set in the 1980s. Samantha plays a newly married woman who appears to be a traditional and docile daughter-in-law. However, she hides a violent past and arrives with a secret mission. The story follows her struggle to protect a family that doubts her when danger from her former life resurfaces.
Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth, Gautami, Sreemukhi, Srilakshmi, Anjali, Manjusha and Sathyaraj play important roles in the film. Music is composed by Santosh Narayanan, while Om Prakash handles cinematography. The story and screenplay are written by Vasant Maringanti. Samantha was last seen in the Telugu film 2023 film Kushi. In 2025, she turned producer with Subham, a horror comedy film directed by Praveen Kandregula and produced by Samantha under the banner Tralala Moving Pictures in association with Kanakavalli Talkies.
