According to a report by Tupaki, a leading OTT platform recently approached Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna with a lucrative offer. However, the couple reportedly declined the offer. The report further claims that they are being cautious, particularly after legal controversies that emerged in the past around celebrity wedding footage.

While there has been no official announcement from either Vijay or Rashmika, reports claim that the couple got engaged privately in October 2025 in the presence of close family. A recent report by Hindustan Times suggested that the wedding is scheduled for February 26, 2026, and will take place at one of Udaipur’s heritage palaces. The speculation gained further momentum when the two actors were spotted sharing pictures from Rome during New Year celebrations. Although they did not confirm travelling together, fans were quick to notice that both had posted photos from the same locations.
Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in The Girlfriend, a romantic drama written and directed by Rahul Ravindran. The film featured Rashmika alongside Dheekshith Shetty and Anu Emmanuel. She will next appear in Mysaa, a thriller directed by Rawindra Pulle and produced by Unformula Films. The project delves into the world of the Gond tribes.
She is also set to star in Ranabaali opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Additionally, Rashmika will feature in Cocktail 2, backed by Dinesh Vijan. A sequel to the 2012 hit, the film is written by Luv Ranjan and stars Kriti Sanon in a key role. While the storyline is being kept under wraps, reports suggest the film is slated for a theatrical release in September 2026. Vijay Deverakonda will headline Ranabaali directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film is set in the 19th century and focuses on themes of resistance against British colonial oppression.
