Akhanda 2 X Review: Nandamuri Balakrishna's Film Opens To Mixed Reviews
A fan wrote, “Pre Interval to Climax senseless Boya - Bala rampage. Thaman what a man… Akhanda 1 bgm tiskochi madyalo Akhanda 2 bgm tho kalipi kottav chudu. Thank You #BoyapatiSrinu. End credits lo chusam ni kasi.”
Another praised Ballaya's performance "An internet user wrote, “Nandamuri Balakrishna, what an actor. Pulled the second half entirely on his shoulders. I was so impressed with the variations he showed in every close up. Its a mass feast for Balayya Babu fans.” A user mentioned that the film has a good beginning, but goes dull soon and only gets better during the interval.
A fan wrote, “Weak 1st half followed by unbearable 2nd half. Logicless scenes and action episodes. Heroine only for Jajikaya Song. Aadhi only for shouting. His shouting is louder than Thaman BGM. Thaman disappoints. Verdict : Weakest Movie in Boya and Balayya Combo”
A netizen “The first half opens with a few glimpses from Part 1. Interval & a couple of elevations land well & there are some #Balayya mind boggling, divineful action sequences with a few hard hitting dialogues too. #Thaman’s BGM holds up several flat and outdated portions. The second half is simple but #Boyapati’s writing feels weak. Some elevations are pushed so far that they come off as cringe to others.” Some members also called the film to be an “Underwhelming Mass Entertainer” where only a few of moments in the film work, but further has a disappointing story.
Akhanda 2 also stars Aadhi Pinishetty, Harshaali Malhotra, Kabir Duhan Singh, Saswata Chatterjee, Ronson Vincent, Achyuth Kumar, P Sai Kumar, Poorna, Ravi Mariya, Harsha Chemudu, and others in key roles.
