Balakrishna's upcoming release Akhanda 2 was earlier set for December 5. But due to 'unavoidable' circumstances it got postponed until further notice. Now, it has come out that the director is ready to settle in 17% of his salary to clear dues and keep the film on track.
Nandamuri Balakrishna settles in Rs 20 crore from his remuneration
Akhanda 2 was postponed just a day before release following a Madras High Court order in favour of Eros International Media Limited. The makers announced the delay on social media with a ‘coming soon’ note. According to latest reports by
Deccan Chronicle, Nandamuri Balakrishna has adjusted Rs 20 crore from his remuneration to help producers clear pending dues, ensuring the film can release without further hurdles. Along with this, the film is now buzzing for a release date of December 25.

Helmed by Boyapati Srinu, the movie also stars Samyuktha, Harshaali Malhotra of
Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame, Aadhi Pinishetty, Saswata Chatterjee and Shamna.
