Ranveer Singh Vs Excel Entertainment
Hrithik Roshan's reaction comes after Ranveer Singh's reported claim of Excel Entertainment trying to replace him. He alleged that Farhan and team were 'exploring the possibility' of bringing Hrithik Roshan on board and only returned to him after the mega success of Dhurandhar. Ranveer also accused Farhan of being 'unprofessional and casual' about Don 3 since the film faced multiple delays and never went on floor. Further, he claimed that Farhan never had a bound script for the project, which shows that he wasn't serious. On the other hand, Farhan is said to have showed documents to respond to Ranveer's claims about problems with the script. Farhan reportedly said that the actor never raised any complaints about the script. He also claimed that the script was shared regularly and was approved each time. The production house told the Producers Guild Of India that Ranveer's exit caused a loss of around Rs 40 crore. The makers said that a lot of money had already been spent on pre-production before the actor decided to leave. It is reported that Farhan and Ritesh are now asking for reimbursement of the losses. They have also requested producers' bodies to create proper rules. They believe there should be clear regulations to prevent what they described as unreasonable demands from actors in future projects.
