We aren't done with Netflix's acquisition deal with Warner Bros Discovery. The latter has rejected Paramount Skydance's $108.4 billion hostile takeover bid, and even asked its shareholders to decline it,
claiming that Netflix's offer was better for customers. Warner Bros rejects Paramount's deal
AP reported that the Warner board sent out a letter to its shareholders reiterating that Paramount's offer was "inferior" and carried "significant risks and costs" in large part because it relies heavily on borrowed money. As against this, Netflix's offer worth more than $400 billion was backed by a company.
Warner owns the Warner Bros. Pictures movie studio and HBO. Earlier this month, it agreed for a cash-and-stock offer from Netflix at $72 billion which allowed Warner let out its cable TV assets like CNN and Discovery. Even HBO Max and HBO would now come under Netflix.
Snyder Cut on Netflix in all glory
In the light of the acquisition deal between Netflix and Warner Bros, the first thing noticed by subscribers of the OTT platform was showing DC's Snyder Cut in all glory and a new key art, hinting that Zack Snyder's Justice League is making its way to Netflix soon. Many posted the new screengrab from its homepage on social media, pointing at the streamers announcement of the acquisition and merging its original content with that of HBO and Warner Bros. Infact one also saw Harry Potter (HBO) and Stranger Things (Netflix) alligned together on the website.

James Gunn's DCU would remain separate from Netflix
Netizens however, also noticed that Netflix has for now left out James Gunn's DCU. A user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "And no DCU projects shown. Good sign for both fan bases I think. They’ll leave Gunn and his universe be for now and instead focus on the else world stories separate from DCU."Netflix later confirmed that Warner Bros Pictures and it will continue to operate separately and independently, with James Gunn and Peter Safran remaining in charge of DC Studios.
