When you have so much to talk about and express, you don’t struggle with words. Vishal Mishra told me about the song, Qubool Hai. When we use the word ‘Qubool Hai’, it isn’t only in the context of nikaah. The woman loved her husband unconditionally and agreed to give it her all for him. That same person went ahead to fight for her rights and faced the brunt of her husband’s infidelity. If you listen to the lyrics carefully, you worship your partner like God. But you eventually realise that none of this is true.”
