Telugu veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has urged fans not to harm animals to celebrate the release of his films. At a promotional event for his upcoming project Akhanda 2, he warned his followers against beheading goats and condemned the practice of smearing their blood on his posters.Nandamuri Balakrishna WARNS Fans Against Beheading AnimalsHe said, “I must tell you something. Subsequently, an FIR was registered against five identified persons under sections 325 & 270, read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023; sections 4 & 5, read with 6 & 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Animals and Birds Sacrifices (Prohibition) Act, 1950; and sections 3, 11(1)(a) and 11(1)(l) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.About Akhanda 2Helmed by Boyapati Srinu, the movie also stars Samyuktha, Harshaali Malhotra of Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame, Aadhi Pinishetty, Saswata Chatterjee and Shamna.
