Rajkummar Rao Proud Of 'Dost' Huma Qureshi With Back-To-Back Series Maharani And Delhi Crime: You Are Killing It

Qureshi has been busy in 2025 with the films Jolly LLB 3, Bayaan, Maalik, Single Salma , and the web series Maharani and Delhi Crime. The latter series are releasing just a week apart from one another, and Huma's roles are as diverse as chalk and cheese in the thrillers. Her good friend and co-star Rajkummar Rao posted his reaction to Huma's double feat. Check out his Instagram Story below.

On his Instagram Story, the Stree 2 actor shared the trailer of Maharani 4 and wrote, "Maharaani (sic) is already doing phenomenally well and now we have Delhi Crime coming. @iamhumaq you are killing it with all the amazing work. So proud of you Dost. Upwards and Onwards."

The two actors have known each other for much of their careers. Rajkummar and Huma both starred in Anurag Kashyap's cult film Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) and reunited on Vasan Bala's noir thriller Monica, O My Darling (2022). Earlier this year, Huma had a cameo in the song Dil Thaam Ke for Rajkummar's gangster film Maalik. In the fourth season of Subhash Kapoor's Maharani, Huma reprises her role as Rani Bharti, the chief minister of Bihar. The SonyLIV series sees the actress face a new political opponent with Prime Minister Joshi, played by Vipin Sharma. Shweta Basu Prasad, Shardul Bharadwaj, and Darsheel Safary also join the series.

Meanwhile, for Netflix's Delhi Crime Season 3, Huma will be joining the award-winning show as the antagonist Badi Didi. Starring Shefali Shah as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, the drama is set to return on November 13, 2025. The third season focuses on a human trafficking network, which is run by Huma's character.
