On the filmmaker's birthday on December 13, Kareena took to Instagram, penning a special note for the Raazi and Talvar director. More about the 2026 film Daayra

Meghna is working with both Kareena and actor Prithviraj Sukumaran for the first time in Daayra. Co-produced by Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios, the Hindi film has been written by Yash and Sima along with filmmaker Meghna. The Varanasi star Prithviraj plays a police inspector in the film, while Kareena is also playing a fierce role in the movie. Daayra is said to dig deep into the age-old paradox of crime, punishment, and justice.
