Karuppu's release delayAccording to trade sources, Karuppu's release was blocked due to unpaid dues of around Rs 10 crore in Tamil Nadu. This unsettled amount reportedly prevented the film from obtaining the mandatory clearances needed to screen in theatres. Once these dues were cleared, the film arrived in cinemas.
