Vvan: Force of the Forest is a Hindi-language mythological folk-thriller. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Arunabh Kumar of
Panchayat fame, the film is described as a high-stakes, atmospheric, and moody thriller that blends folklore with modern cinematic storytelling. During the launch of the comic, Sidharth mentioned that the
Vvan team was extremely excited, describing the comic as just a small glimpse into the world of
Vvan. He also noted that most of the boys were upset that he was in front, covering Tamannaah.
On the other hand, Ektaa Kapoor explained that the film contains numerous Easter eggs and clarified that it is not folklore. She also said that it will likely inspire a lot of conspiracy theories and called it the beginning of a whole new world. Kapoor also expressed confidence that a lot of fan fiction will be created based on it after the movie.

While there is an uncertainty, movie critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared that
Vvan - Force of the Forest will be released on August 28, 2026. The film was earlier expected to be released on May 15, 2026. Meanwhile, the film will be released on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical release.
