Varrdhan Kapoor followed the footsteps of his father, Anil Kapoor and joined the Hindi film industry. He made his acting debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Mirzya in 2016 opposite Saiyami Kher. Since then, Harsh has worked on films like Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, AK vs AK, and Thar. While he had full-fledged roles in Thar and Bhavesh Joshi, the actor made an extended cameo appearance in Vikramaditya Motwane's 2020 film. Recently, a netizen asked Harsh why he stepped back from acting and stopped doing projects. Reacting to this, the actor clarified that he has been working on a new project after Thar's release.

On X, a user called Harsh 'genuinely talented actor' and told him to keep hustling. He even suggested the actor to look up to his father Anil if he ever needed a role model. The netizen mentioned that Harsh is blessed to have a father like the Mr India actor. Responding to the tweet, Harsh said, "I haven’t stepped back at all been working on a new one since the day thar released it took 5 years to get thar made .. it took many years for vikram to make bhavesh."
The actor added that it has taken him two to years to finish the film that he intends to wrap by June 30. Harsh feels that people are used to actors doing multiple films a year. However, if people want projects like Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, Thar, AK vs AK, and Ray, it is not going to happen once or twice a year. The actor further promised that his upcoming film is the best and unique in nature.
