In a recent interview, Vijay Ganguly, who choreographed the song featuring Krystle D’Souza and Ayesha Khan, has confessed that he panicked while choreographing Shararat. Vijay Ganguly on choreographing Shararat
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Vijay Ganguly revealed that the Shararat song was not easy for him to choreograph. He got overwhelmed after seeing a response to
Shararat on social media. Especially, the hookstep of the song has now become a rage on the internet. When asked about the challenges he faced while shooting Shararat, Vijay Ganguly revealed, “We were supposed to finish the song in two days. Hamare pass do din the; usme we have to shoot wearing portions also of RS (Ranveer Singh), unki shaadi ho rahi hai, wo sab karna tha.”
Vijay Ganguly also opened up about that particular shot of
Shararat which gave him anxiety. He said, “Ek shot tha jahan par if you see parde ke peeche wala jo step hai, usme wo aati hai phir Krystal comes in, Ayesha comes in, aur phir Ayesha ko peeche se bhaag ke join karke aana hai. Wo take mein hum fass gaye, pata nahi kyun! Someone was going off track. Till the time we got that right, it took us one and a half hours to get that shot. And i was panicking, saying Oh my god, how we gonna finish the song. But that shot is there in the film. It is going to be there for life, so you have to invest that time and effort so that everything is in sync. It happened, but that was unforeseen.” Eventually, Vijay Ganguly finished the shoot of
Shararat and it turned out to be a good one for him. Talking about Dhurandhar, the film has crossed the Rs 800 crore mark at the box office. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and others in key roles. Stay tuned for more updates!
