2026 is gearing up for a major Bollywood clash! Kartik Aaryan’s fantasy comedy Naagzilla and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated film Love & War , starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, are both set to release on Independence Day 2026, promising an epic box-office showdown.

Dharma begins filming Naagzilla

Dharma Productions shared a video of the pooja ceremony before beginning the shoot, wrote, "We’re not just rolling…we’re slithering into the world of #Naagzilla! Day 1 was filled with laughter, blessings, positivity and too much फ़न! In cinemas 14th August, 2026."

Love & War release date

For the unversed, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film was initially set to hit screens on March 20, 2026. “Though around 125 days of the shoot is already completed, the makers are yet to finish a big chunk of the shoot and hence, the release date has been moved. An official announcement regarding the new release date will be made soon,” as quoted by Pinkvilla. Post Mumbai schedule, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, with the team of SLB’s film, will fly off to Italy for a major schedule. The director is going to shoot the climax scene of the film in Italy, Sicily.
