The PlayStation Network is reportedly witnessing a massive outage across the United States on Monday, leaving gamers unable to play their favourite games late in the evening. According to outage tracker, Downdetector, over 3,000 users have reported issues with the networks, complaints surging during the late hours. Affected players have flagged issues ranging from connectivity and login failures to disruptions in gameplay.According to Downdetector, nearly 3,349 users have raised issues with the Sony network around 10:40 PM EST. Out of these reported complaints, 53% users flagged issues with login, 35% with the server connection, and 8% with game play. Moreover, the tracker’s online map showed New York, Washington, Houston, Los Angeles, Tijuana,
Boston, and other areas amongst the worst affected. How PlayStation Network RespondsAccording to the official service status page of the Sony PlayStation, all services are up and running. The platform showed its account management, gaming, and social features, along with the PlayStation Store, as fully functional.Frustrated Users Took To XFrustrated gamers went to X immediately to express their disappointment.
